Do you like free stuff?
One of the greatest things about a birthday party is the gifts. Sure it is nice to have friends over and spending time together is great, but when else would you ever be able to get a present for not doing anything? I mean, all you have to do is show up and once a year (if you are nice) you get a party and gifts. Pretty sweet deal.
