Five For Friday! – May 8, 2009

Friday Roundup!

As a parent, there are a lot of areas where I fall short. I am not ashamed to take advice from parents that have a proven track record. In other words, if their kids have turned out ok, I might just be able to learn something that will help me with my kids (who are pretty awesome by-the-way).

The same is true in the area of personal finance. There are a lot of successful people out there whose advice I willingly use. This week I thought I would combine the two and bring five personal finance articles/posts from parents. Hope you enjoy.

  1. FrugalDad offers The Ultimate Collection Of Money Saving Tips: 122 Ways To Trim Your Budget
  2. SimpleMom has a series called Spring Cleaning. Check out the entire series
  3. Millionaire Mommy Next Door has a five part series describing How She Became a Millionaire
  4. Looking for some money saving tips for dads? DIY Father has a few tips to save money on Dad’s clothes.
  5. Paidtwice talks about their journey to pay off debt and build the emergency fund

Hope you enjoy these posts. What about you? Do you have some favorite blogs that you read regularly? Leave a comment and let us know about them.
