ING Direct Online Bank

ING Direct is just one of the many online banks that have popped up over the last several years. They are available to do business online, over the phone or via the mail. They have several financial products that allow you a great deal of flexibility and options that will likely meet all of your banking needs.

They offer an easy-to-use paperless checking account called Electric Orange. Their Orange Savings Account has fees and no minimums and currently a very competitive rate. They also offer a mortgage product called Orange Mortgage that has no application fee, a simple, no-hassle application, and again very competitive rates when compared to traditional 30-year fixed mortgages.

The thing I like best is their customer service. They really want to treat their customers like real people and desire to earn your business. Currently, if you open a ING Direct Orange Savings account with $250 or more as a referral from an existing customer (like me), they will give you an additional $25 directly into your account. To be completely upfront with regard to their referral program, if you open an account with $250 or more, not only will you get $25, but I will also get $10. If you would like a referral, to get your $25, contact me and mention “ING referral” in your message and I will provide you with a link to get you started.

If you would like additional information about ING Direct check out this overview from their website.
