However, until our country gets their head out of the sand, and creates a brand-new money system... there really isn&#039;t a long-term solution.  If everyone pays off debt and no one takes on new debt, money will cease to exist.  In the US, money *is* debt, and without debt, there is no money.  If you&#039;re not familiar, look up  &quot;Money as Debt&quot; on Youtube.  It&#039;s a great watch, and shows you how broken our system really is.</description>
