Five for Friday! – February 6, 2009

Five for Friday!

The end of another week is upon us and I am very glad. I was sick for two days and spent another in Washington, DC at a meeting. If you have never been on I-95 in the Northern Virginia area heading into or out of DC, you are truly missing one of the greater chaotic moments you could ever experience. Nonetheless, we survived another week, and here are a few articles/posts that will help you through the weekend

  1. MightyBargainHunter discusses the upswing in the savings rate
  2. FrugalDad discusses the value of an item compared to its actual cost
  3. MrsMicah reminds us that All Debt Repayment Money Is Legitimate
  4. Glblguy give us 25 uses for dryer sheets
  5. PTMoney discusses the good and bad of couponing

A lot of ways to save money by being frugal this week, and most of us could probably use a little more frugality in our lives. While you are reading wisdom from others, don’t be afraid to subscribe to their RSS or email feed and get constant updates and ideas that will help you win in the area of personal finance.

Not jealous of that DC traffic. Hope the weekend is nice. And thanks for sharing my post with your readers.
