In just a few weeks people will begin making New Years resolutions, most of which will end up impacting your pocketbook (i.e., join a gym, get a new car, relax by taking a trip, etc.). I have no problem with people that spend money, as long as they aren’t going into debt to do it. On the other hand, I think most of us could improve our lives by doing a few things that won’t cost a penny, and in doing them we will be positively impacting others.
Here is a short list of things we can all do:
- Help your neighbors
- Clean up the neighborhood
- Volunteer
- Visit the elderly
- Write letters
- Send thank-you notes
- Do a good deed
- Smile
