Budget Crunched?

October 9th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Budgeting, Life Impact

piggy bankNot sure about where you live, but here in Fredericksburg, VA the gas prices have really started to come down. Just last night I filled up both of our vehicles for $3.09 per gallon for regular unleaded. While the stock market has begun to resemble a terrible train wreck, the everyday life around our house is remaining somewhat stable. That is not to say that I think things are all good. I do think that this is a very important time in the life of our country, I also believe that each of us can do several things to help our families make it through these trying times. The most important thing we can do is start living on a budget. Most people think that a budget will be too restrictive, but trust me, once you start living within your means and acknowledging where each dollar is going you will experience a level of freedom you didn’t know was possible.

Here is an article from SmartMoney that lists several more things that you can do to help your family endure these tough times.
