Teaching the kids

September 12th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Life Impact

What are you doing to teach your children about personal finance? Do they know the importance of saving for things they want or are you teaching by example and leading them to believe that the credit card is the answer to all of your wants?

“Reading, writing, arithmetic” — too bad that list doesn’t include personal finance. Most kids learn the basics of money and making change in grammar school, but probably won’t learn how to manage money unless they choose finance as a career path. That means it is up to all of us to see that our children reach adulthood prepared to face life’s fiscal challenges. – Source Yahoo Finance
